What is Eureka?
It's a treasure trove of RVing ideas: hints, tips, information, projects... all written in a friendly, conversational style and illustrated with hundreds of clear photos and drawings. Whether you're a vacationer, an experienced fulltimer or a "wannabe" who's thinking about dipping your toe in the water, Eureka has something for you: bright ideas that can make your RVing life more enjoyable while saving you money. About the only thing I don't cover is where to go—that's up to you.
Eureka 2: bigger and better than ever!
The original Eureka was a bigger success than I had dared to hope. I was bowled over by the wonderful emails I got—for example, "WOW! Eureka has just about answered every question I have. I don't feel intimidated at all any more, thanks to you!" Or this one: "Fantastic product! A lot of these tips are unique, and they're all very clever. The level of thought that goes into your organizational process is astounding—you've thought of everything!"
But there's always room for improvement! From the day Eureka first shipped, I've been jotting down things I wanted to add to the next edition. And now after several months of work, Eureka 2 is ready... with everything that was in the original Eureka plus more photo-illustrated tips, articles and money-saving projects than ever.
What's new in 2
Here are the statistics in a nutshell:

I've added articles on cold-weather camping, connecting to the internet, water-saving ways to shower and wash dishes, and much more. New projects include patterns for easy-to-make covers for your catalytic heater and for those sticky vinyl chair armrests, and six clever ways to bring cables down from the roof without drilling holes, among other things.
Bunches of hints and tips have been added to the already jam-packed Eureka pages, offering tricks for everything from fixing leaky pipes to eliminating water spots. And there's a generous helping of new recipes, including an amazing five-minute (no kidding!) chocolate cake. There's even an "RVer's glossary" that explains nearly a hundred slang phrases, jargon terms and abbreviations in plain English. Here's a summary of the new goodies you'll be getting if you upgrade from the original Eureka.
