My experiences at this park: click here and here.

Comments: Drive slowly in this park—the roads are badly potholed and have BIG speed bumps! The hookup sites to the left as you enter the park are preferable. If you're looking for peace and quiet, avoid the area on the right, near the boat ramp. Those sites are crowded together, and that area becomes very noisy on weekends—both the campsites and the northern part of the lake, which is infested with powerboaters and jet-skiers. The best camping in the park is in the lakeside primitive (dry camping) area at the south end of the lake, which is little used. That end of the lake sees mostly sailboats and kiteboarders, which are quiet and fun to watch.

Verizon 3G/LTE signal is good as of late 2014, but internet connection speed varies unpredictably.

Water shut off and restrooms closed from October 31st through April 1st, but park remains open.
